With their 43-21 win over Timberview, the Scots won their 52nd outright district championship and their 840th game. Both are state records! HP also made their 61st playoff appearance--another state record!

During the 2019 season, the Scots 42-35 win over Lancaster was Coach Allen's 400th coaching victory. He beccame just the 3rd in Texas to reach that mark! (Calallen's Phil Danaher 468, retired coach GA Moore 426)

Randy Allen passed another hallmark as he recorded his 500th game as a head coach in leading the Scots to a 46-18 win over Rockwall October 16, 2020. That was his 405th win.

1980 Was when highlander opened

In 1980, Highlander Stadium opened its gates to a crowd that was ready for a true home game. The Scots had been playing at SMU’s Ownby Stadium while the new stadium was being built.
Before the game began, a man parachuted in and delivered the game ball to Gov. Bill Clements, a proud graduate of the Class of 1934.
“It was a really exciting event with a lot of built-up anticipation,” said Jeff Berry, a 1981 graduate. “Our motto, Scots Got Pride, was never more evident, and the opening fanfare was equally over the top. We crushed our opponents that night.”

Highlander Stadium has welcomed thousands of fans over 40 years. The stadium recently went through some upgrades with new ticket offices, restrooms, locker rooms and a brand new Scot Shop.
